MS FlightSim "Simple" Question

Hi guys,

I hope you're all well. I've been using flight sim a bit recently, and I'm trying to find out how to start your flight at the gate/parked up...so you may taxi to the runway rather than being started at the active runway automatically.

It seems like such a simple simple thing, but I can't for love nor money find out how to bloody do it!

Google is usually "my friend", but not tonight apparently.

I figured there may be someone who has been through the same thing here, so please if you know what to do, let me know.

I mainly use FS2002 as it runs best on my current laptop, but I have FS9 and X too.

Any advice/guidnace warmly received.

Thanks and have a great weekend,

CF

When you select the flight you select the terminal you want to start at rather than the active runway. Just look for "active runway" in a drop down box and change it.

Thank you so much, someone has literally just pointed the same thing out to me.

Turns out I tried scrolling down in the active runway drop down, but it seemed to stop after the runways only....and for many other major airports, turns out I must have fumbled the controls ro somethign as it's working now.

Thank you.
