Vista recycle bin

Can someone help me out here? My mother-in-law's recycle bin has disappeared from her desktop. I've tried the simple stuff like refreshing the icons, but no success. Where would I find it and how would I restore it?

Surely. On an ampty area of your desktop, right click & choose Properties. Then click on the desktop tab & click customise desktop.

Choose recycle bin (empty) & voila, back in business.

To fix this issue in Windows Vista, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Appearance and Personalization, click Personalization, and then click Change desktop icons.
3. Click to select the Recycle Bin check box, and then click OK.
