Hopefully they'll fix the broken bits for release with windows 7, at least it's a step in the right direction. In another few years they may even catch up with FireFox.

For what its worth I have recently install Ex 8 and I think it is very good.

The pages are clearer than 6 or 7 and it is definitely faster - much faster.

I'm still road testing it but I have a feeling I will be keeping this one.

The accelerators and web slices can be particularly useful. With a little effort, one can make a home page that is a mashup of parts of other sites, and also receive updates on when other sites change.
