Stretched display

Right.

Ever since I have installed the latest Tomb Raider game and updated the graphics/sound card drivers, sometimes my screen displays as if it has been stretched vertically, such that I have to put the mouse pointer at the top of the screen to make it "scroll" the top of the screen into view (or the bottom depending on where the mouse pointer is!)

Sometimes if I log all the other users off, then log off/on myself, the screen will return to normal aspect ratio. If this doesn't work, restarting the PC will sort it out.

It's not the end of the world, but is slightly irritating, and I can't find where to change this setting (it's not the screen resolution, which doesn't change whever the aspect ratio is doing).

Any ideas anyone??

Managed to sort it out. My daughter had secretly downloaded a Tomb Raider background picture for her desktop which was messing with the PC settings. She's got rid of it now and everything is back to normal.
