internet display issue please help

so im browsing the internet for exampl youtube when i try to maximize the video to fullsize i get a black an-d grey ho-rizontal display and no video content could sum1 tell me y it is doing this & how 2 fix please i have win. vista 64 bit new pavilion dv7 laptop thanks 4 ur time

could be a graphics card driver. Does the laptop use onboard or have a stand alone card? worth trying to update the drivers to the latest version
