What is the best free website maker?
I have got a homepage with Freewebs now called Webs but the monthly
bandwidth limit is low as well as storage for the photos.
Any ideas how to create a great homepage website relatively simply?
With lots of potential & flexibility & storage
We have a discussion forum in place but require a homepage to link it together although both will be separate.
Yeah i want the lot...LOL
Thanks in advance
Cheers

I played briefly with the freebies and the cheapies. I gave up on that, and got a reliable package from a good ISP.
No contest. As preduk says.
For other reasons, I now have 3 ISPs with websites on all three, but for different purposes. I wouldn't bother with the freebies again.

A good free website editor is Kompozer, but it does require you to create individual pages i.e. it's not a "site creator". However, if I'm reading the Webs site rightly, it looks like they have their own Templates that you can use directly, so you probably don't need to go looking for anything else.
How much storage is "lots"? I have a free account on wordpress.com, which is good for simple pages and blog-type journals. It now has 3GB of disk space as standard, but only certain file types are permitted i.e. documents and graphics, not MP3 files or programs. You can pay to remove those restrictions and get more space.
Edit : poking around, I see Google Sites is offering 10GB of space at no cost, page creation, and some other bits like Google Apps and Calendar. I have no experience with them, however.

Tried several but none matches webs.com curiously my bandwidth
has gone from 100 mb to 500 mb overnight so perhaps they read this forum as well so I will stick with them at this stage, thanks for the replies.
