Cool How do I find free or fairly cheap FTP space/webspace

hi all

I have been with AOL forever and loved that it used to offer 7mg free FTP/webspace. Since AOL UK sold out its cable broadband business to Virgin Media and its dialup services to Carphone Warehouse the FTP space has been "discontinued" and nothing is going to be taking its place. So... while I can live with the fact that my hound's website has to be relocated to a blog, I am ticked that I have nowhere to display a recently bought webcam (so I can spy on my dog when I am not around!!!).

So... can someone please advise me how I can get either free or fairly inexpensive webspace into which I can upload pics from my webcam (or at least try to do so?).

Thanks in advance for any replies.

From Virgin Media website:

All customers have up to 55MB of filespace on our servers to use with their new account.
I'm with VM (via Blueyonder and NTL) and I have that facility.

Check your account!

Tell them you'll go somewhere else if they don't give you what you want - seems to work wonders!

Cool

Hi SD - is your email addy an AOL one? or are you totally signed up with Virgin Media?

I was told by Virgin Media that because I wish to keep my AOL address (I have had the same email addy for over 10 years and IM regularly with chums in the USA on AOL) there is nothing they can do.... hence my question about finding independent webspace.
