Trouble with BoB2 flight sim
I always enjoyed this particular flight sim in its original version on my old PC. Got a brand spanking new PC so I found the new, updated BoB2 ('Wings of Victory') on ebay, and have installed it.
Well, it just looks pants
. I'll try to show a screenshot here but not sure if I can.

Everything is really fuzzy - particularly outside. There is nothing like the level of detail you see in all the reviewers' screenshots.
And what's happened to the text?
I've tried tweaking everything in the resolution every which way I can but it always comes out like this.
Here's a list of my PC specs:
Dell Vostro 410DT, MS Vista Home Premium
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Processor
3072MB 800MHz Dual Channel memory
500GB hard drive with 16MB cache
512MB nVidia GeForce 8800GT graphics
MS Force Feedback 2 joystick
Help!

Not a computer buff in the slightest but although you mention tweaking resolution options have you tried tweaking the actual graphics settings? Not familiar with the product but looks like you have an anti-aliasing issue there!

Solved!
I downloaded new video card drivers (PC is only 3 months old
), tweaked them to make something or other 'application controlled' (I was given advice on this on the software developers' forum), fiddled with the screen resolution and Bingo! Thanks for for your collective head scratching - it took a while but it was worth it. It's an amazing game, I have to say.
