Useful Links on Computer / Internet Issues
This is a general list of sites I've found useful when I've had some problems with my PC. Hopefully, other members can add to this over time.
Can't find a device driver for some hardware you've just installed or have lost the diskette/CD with it? Check out
The Windrivers Home Page Lots of links to computer news forums and problem discussion pages as well
Sprocket mentioned a problem with cookies taking over the PC in another thread. This might be a hack, so if you suspect your system has been clobbered, The Hack-Fix Home Page might be worth a visit. A virus / trojan scan whilst on line is available here too.
Internet / E-mail Hoaxes info is available from The Hoax-Kill websiteand another good place is The Data Fellows site

Thanks for those, I have printed them off & put them in my file of useful bits for the computer. I have some addresses for free virus check/cleaning on-line which I will post as soon as I can find the email they came with.
