Question pdf files - Help please!

Hi folks, just a quickie. As a complete computer ignaramus I was wondering how it is possible to view these .pdf files. For example I wanted to download some info from the CAA site. I have saved it to disc, and yet when I try to view it in Word - all that appears are pages and pages of rubbish (yes I know that's maybe what I should expect from the CAA!). The same happens when I get sent info from work - I can't view anything. Please help. Thanks Sean

You need Adobe Acrobat to read pdf files. If you don't already have it on your computer, go to the following address and download it (free).

Adobe

And when you do get Acrobat - just a handy hint: When the page of the file opens that you are going to read, right click and click on 'continuous'. That way the pages will run down in a long roll rather than jumping to the next page without letting you read the end of the last easily.

Would anybody like an pdf creator?
Its usually quite expensive from Adobe, but with a few simple tips from me you can get one for free. Its a useful piece of kit.

If it is Adobe Acrobat (illegal version) beware - it phones home every 25 uses....
