Question Assistance Please

I have a problem that is bugging me to drink. When I post to a thread from my home computer, the post often takes hours to come up on the thread. I'm using IE5, I've tried refreshing, F5, going in & out of the Forum, rebooting the computer, I've spoken to my ISP & still it persists. I have no problems from my machine in the office, apart from having to refresh every time I go into a thread, but it's just this sod at home.

Any suggestions?????

Interesting development. This Thread and the post came up straight away.?????

nasa, when you post something, note the time when the acceptancy page shows up, this time you will notice later as the posting time.
If you cannot see your posting for some time and later, when you can see it and it shows the time you noted down is the same as the one shown above the posting, well, this has nothing to do with your ISP, it has to do with your machine.

Have you tried shutting down IE and then coming back into PPrune?? Some machines hold the cache until the application is shut down.
Hope this helps

saggy.....yep did that and everything else one can think of. Yesterday I went in and change as many settings as I could and last night it worked. Now, I don't know which one did the trick.

This is also a test....

And it didn't bloody well work this morning...
