To Edit your file Prefs.js, right click on it and select 'edit'.The file can be found under your user name (under the 'users' subdirectory of Netscape)

Help! Excellent site for Communicator 4.71, but I've got stuck on how to load the damn thing! I've checked through the Readme notes, but nothing I do seems to work. Is there any easy way (preferably without dabbling in DOS) to get the "ns-install" file to run? I'm using W98 with Communicator 4.6 as my current version. Any direct e-mail appreciated.
