Cool Think different!

Had a few enquiries recently from professional pilots asking what logbook software can they run on their Apple Macs. As far as I am aware, there is none written specifically for the Mac, but the CAA recognised (and soon to be JAA recognised) logbook software Skylog Pro (www.skylog.co.uk) runs perfectly well on the Mac under emulation from an application called Virtual PC. This emulator basically turns the Mac into a PC without loss of functionality (printers etc.) As with most programs these days, the faster the processor and the more RAM, the better, so G3/G4 with min 64MB RAM is the requirement.
As a PPL myself have recently registered with the "Towers" . As a Mac engineer would gladly assist aviators with Mac support/queries if I can.

Unhappy

Well actually His Airship, Lord and Master of this site has a very nice Mac logbook program that he developed himself. Someone may have a reference to the thread some months ago where he included screenshots.

Use the 'Contact Us' hotlink on the main page to enquire further.
