Post Adding photos

I know it's been probably been covered many times before, in fact I remember a discussion on it maybe 18 months ago, but I can't find the answer, even in FAQs:

I want to add a couple of aircraft pictures which are stored as .jpg and .gif files on my C drive to one of the threads. I apparently can't just copy and paste them (I've tried and it doesn't work), what is the correct procedure and in which format should be used?

Thanks in advance from the confused one!

Groundgripper: You will need to get the image onto a web site first. Check this link to get the full story.

BTW, Helidrvr who is a moderator on the "Rotorheads" forum may have a site that you can use.

Many thanks for that, Sprocket, I knew I had read it somewhere.
