Post Copying FS 2000 CD,s

Does anyone in pprune land know how to make backup copies of the latest FS 2000 CD's.
MS has done something clever to prevent copies being made. Come on you feather pluckers give me some clues.

Thumbs down

It's illegal to do that!
However there are utilities that allow you to run the sim without any cd's in! Try a search at flightsim.com or if you're passing through asia seach out some of the 'computer centers' they'll tell you.

Steamhead,

The CD's are protected using a commercial anti copy device called Safedisc. You are of course entitled to make a backup of your CD's, and it's often a good idea to store these off site.

You should find everthing you need at the following site:

A number of the flightsim websites (www.flightsim.com, www.avsim.com etc.) have a file called crack.exe which allows you to run the program without the CD's in the drive.
