FS 2000 aircraft editor

I have been trying for hours to try and get this bloody thing to work but to no avail. I keep getting the same error message 'FSEDIT caused an invalid page fault in module DPLAYERX.DLL'. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know how to fix it.

Also looking through the aircraft folders I came across some sounds which I have not used, for example the glide slope warning. Is there some way of activating this?
