Spell Check Suggestions
I have just tried to write an e-mail including the line "How do we become members?"
I made a typo and wrote "How do we become mebers?"
The spell checker SUGGESTED the best choice would be "How do we become embers?"
LOL. I also used to seriously fancy a television presenter called Trish Williamson (still do, actually - Trish, e-mail me) - -spell checker always wanted her to be called Trash Williamson.
Anybody else spotted any real funnies?
BTW - Carol Vorderman....you can e-mail too.
(Please).

MS Word on Office 97 threw up an oddball if you typed "worldwide". If you spell-checked it, it would suggest "world-wide". If you selected that option, you would immediately get a green wiggly line. Running grammar checker suggested "worldwide" again. One of the programmers playing silly bu&&ers, methinks.

RO Tiree,
I've had loads of errors like that. The left arm not knowing what the right arm is doing I think. Then again have you heard about MS Access and their licencing problem which means that you have to rename a font before you can get it to run? Weird story, I'll post it some day.
