Try http://www.ezboard.com/ which is VERY easy to create and manage. It navigates similarly to Pprune. The beauty of this is that there's nothing to upload, as they are the host as well as the provider.
If you want to have a stab at it, try the freeware version of UBB, which is downloadable here: http://infopop.com/services_ubb/services_ubb_free.html
Both have very useful help links and forums covering just about everything related, so it's hard to go wrong for long
I've implemented both successfuly, without major difficulty, so take your pick.
