For a long avowed luddite, I must say these grey boxes can be pretty engrossing...

I hope someone cane help me with this one. I got IE5 late last year and noticed that the icons for sites I visited could now be specific to the site (two cows on TUCOWS etc). COOL, I thought.

Pretty soon however, they went back to the standard e icon. Oh well, I thought, but it still bugged me so I spent yesterday pottering to no avail.

Wasted a great day, got the ****s big time.

Ideas or solutions much appreciated

Just checking - do you mean in your Favorites folder?

Try removing the site from the favourites list, then going back to the site and adding it back into your favourites. TUCOWS still has the cool icon in my favourites folder.

Yes Doc, they were to be found in Favorites, but also in the address bar. I guess you don't do house calls...

Thanks for the tip Liteguy, but had already tried that one myself.
