How come PPRUNE keep me logged in ?

Hello all,. .I just got internet explorer 6.0 and since than PPRUNE will not keep me logged in. Also the folders on the left of the screen are allways red so now I can not tell which are the new posts since I last logged on.. .Any help would be great thanks.

Sound like you haven't got your "cookies" enabled. The switch will be in somewhere like your Internet Options. Don't know exactly where 'cos I use Netscape.

Check the privacy settings (tools -> internet options -> privacy). If this is set too high then you'll not accept the cookie from PPRuNe. FWIW, I've got it set to Medium High.

Can anyone tell me, whilst we are on the subject, is IE 6 any good, or worth upgrading to from 5.5?
