Question Laptops at work and docking stations

I've had a scan through the HSE documents regarding VDU / DSE / whatever and can't find any definitive information about whether companies need to buy docking stations if laptops are provided as part of your work equipment.. .. .There is general guidance on having an assessment done, and then taking action if needs be, but nothing which says "Thou Shalt Buy Docking Stations For Thy Staff.". .. .Anyone been down this road before ?

and for what reason do you need one? If you need to transfer data from the lappy to the !!!companies!!! mainframe (or whatever) than they will certainly provide an adequate transfer device. . .Don't shout too loud or the IR will come and collect some extra tax from you for having fun with company equipment....
