All of a sudden i seem to have lost the new replies since you were last on symbols?

Also i'm sure there was a log out button??

Where have they gone then!?

Zeppelin, if you disabled javascript in your browser then that would account for the behaviour that you have described.

E7... thats how i remember it, but its now vanished!!

BB thanks, i dont think i have the know-how to intentially turn it off...let alone turn it back on!!!
If you could tell me where to look, would be greatly appreciated.

Zeppelin, easy enough in Netscape, but Microsoft doesn't even like to mention arch-rival Sun's devlopment. The web site whose URL is given below lists instructions for enabling/disabling java and javascript for both types of browsers. (Note: java and javascript are different things. The former is a full-fledged programming language, the latter just a scripting language. FWIW I enable javascript as needed for trusted sites but I keep java permanently disabled to prevent programmer wannabes from remotely crashing my PC - mostly by incompetence, not maliciousness.)
