Internet Explorer on new vista laptop

I have just bought a new Acer wide screen laptop with vista home premium. All good, apart from most web sites are only filling half the screen. Ironically, prune is OK filling the complete screen. I cannot seem to find anything relative in the settings, any help would be appreciated!

Cool

it will be down to the way that the web page has been set, i.e. the html coding, some auto resize others are set at say 1024x768 and there is not a lot you can do about it.

Assuming v7 with vista you can try holding down the CTRL key and using the scoll wheel on your mouse to see if that helps.

I'd recommend you try firefox as a browser and see if that cures it.

Set the screen resolution to 640 x 480 - that'll cure it!
