Question This is probably very simple....

OK,

So, I want to download a few things from flightsim.com for FS2000.
I've got WinZip but how in the hell do I get the file into FS2000.....everything i've tried just doesn't work.

If someone would please let me know in very plain english I would be much appreciated.
(I would prefer before Sunday as i'm away from home for a while)

Thanks,
Cheers

One possibility:

1. Download the zip file from the website.
2. Unzip the file (into a default folder somewhere - often in the "unzipped" folder).
3. Examine the contents of what you have unzipped. Often there is a readme.txt or some other word document which tells you where in FS2000 you need to move the files to.

If there is no instruction file, maybe check where you downloaded the zip file from - sometimes they have instructions on where to unzip to.

Hope this is a start...

Thumbs up

Another way JB is is to go to www.download.com where you will find - using search - a programme called DOWNLOAD ACCELERATOR. Everytime you want to download ANYTHING, DA comes straight in and does it for you. All you have to do when you load it for the first time, is to make sure you tell DA where you want it to store the files.

BTW its fast and it can download several files at once. You'll love it.
