Post Microlog Logbook Programme

Anyone out there using Ian Jago's Microlog?

I have used this utility for 6 years now and it works well but I am having trouble running the back up program.

I suspect my DOS is version 6 or later (how can I tell that?) and the back up notes imply that the back up only works on DOS below version 6.

I tell the system which directory the files are in but it doesn't seem to want to believe it. Any ideas?

I've used Microlog successfully for many years too, but never used its backup facility, I think I had a problem getting it to work and didn't persevere. I use Microsoft's Backup utility instead, with no problem. Just back up the half dozen or so .dbf and .ntx files in the Microlog directory.

If my memory serves me right, just type ver on the command line and it tells you what version is running.
