Anyone having a problem opening Google? I have been trying since lunchtime and I can't get it to open.

All other sites etc., open as normal.

try using http:\\66.102.9.99, had the same problem once but think it was ntl dns servers messing about.

Good luck

There appear to be some DNS server problems at the moment, the BT ones won't resolve several sites such as the Invisionfree forums, I'm currently using a public DNS server so that I can get into them.

For about 10 days I have experienced a delay of about 5 secs before the home page opens.
Used to be instantaneous.

I have no problems with google.

Virginmedia / NTL / Blueyonder had a big outage on Sunday - but probably unrelated. No problem with DNS, just the actual connections, ping -t registering a minimum of 66% packet loss for almost 24 hours!
