Coming to the UK for a month

I will be staying in the UK for a month at my friends house who doesn't have any internet connections. What's the best way of getting connected for just a month? I have checked BT & Cloud and there is nothing apart from going to the local airport or MacDonalds

Any ideas greatly appreciated

Surely your friend must have a BT phone line at their house ?

If so, the answer is simple .... find a broadband ISP that operates one month rolling contracts, and sign up with them.

(You shouldn't have difficulty finding such an ISP, there are lots that operate such contracts).

What about simple dial up - not as fast as broadband but if it's for collecting e-mail etc it would work.

Then back up with something like McD's for ocassional broadband??
