PPrune Warning Possible Scam - Email
Hi everyone
sorry for the alarming title but I just got an email on Tiscali telling me I had a PM on Pprune. I opened up Prune to check and oddly there was nothing indicating a pm.
Anyway like a dope I opened up the email and guess what somebody wants me to share a small fortune with me. B***ocks.
Immediately the laptop lost it internet connection and I am now in process of cleaning scanning and anything else I can think of.
My reason for posting is to advise others of the risk and to ask for any suggestions of anything else that I need to do - other than somebody telling me "I should not have opened the email in the first place" I know that.

I have reported it to Tiscali but I am not holding my breath for an answer.
Just looked at your link it is from the same addressee "kdsuleman" but I did not read it and wanted to close it quickly. Have no idea what 419 means

I now know what 419 means and I have forwarded it IAW Met Police recommendations to the IP from whence it came.
I have reported it to Tiscali but I am not holding my breath for an answer.
