VOIP SIP phone DXB: where to buy please?

Ladies and Gents,

I live in DXB and I'd like a VOIP SIP phone that works with Windows Vista please. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you'd kindly email where to get them in DXB, i'd be a happy man

cheers

JJ

Thanks for the reply kwachon, but who says I'm using Skype?

That's why i asked for a SIP phone, but USB will do, but i need Vista drivers. I currently use a USB phone with Win XP, but my new computer won't run it as Vista won#t recognise the drivers, so either a USB with Vista drivers or a SIP pone would be great please

Cheers again

JJ

You say you want a SIP phone but via USB. All of the SIP phones I have EVER seen are proper stand-alone IP phones connected via CAT5 since SIP is the high-level communications protocol. So the issue of Vista drivers is non-existent [that's the whole point of SIP].

You could get a SIP softphone and use a mic/headset combination or see if one of the softphones supports one of the USB phones as input/output.
