Someone's out of a job, eh? It's not a new problem any more, but some people obviously haven't got the message.
- Don't trust email attachments - if you're not expecting them from someone you know, never open them.
- treat "HTML emails" carefully - if you can, set up your mail program to treat all mail as plain text. (Outlook instructions here.)
- never click on links in emails. If it refers to a site you use, go there directly. Banks and other security-conscious companies (e.g. PayPal) don't send links in email.
