Help with PDF

G'day All,

I'm turning to the PPrune boffins to solve this..

For reason I cannot fathom, my Firefox browser will not display PDF files in a tab or window.

Running Adobe V7, PCCillin for firewall.

Can save files and display no problems but it obstinately refuses to display in the browser.

By all means mock my ignorance,

Regards,

KIR

I suggest that you try the following:

Uninstall Acrobat 7, download and install Acrobat 8 (8.1.1 is the most recent I believe).

If that doesn't fix it, then uninstall and re-install firefox. Again, ensure that you have the most recent version.

Or dump adobe reader completely and use Foxit reader which I found to be much quicker

If any of you are like me, and never want PDFs to be displayed in Firefox, there's another useful plugin, "PDF Download".
