Windows Firewall (XP)

I have just found (Windows Firewall is 'OFF', using Zone Alarm) that it appears to be 'enabled' somehow for a variety of services under 'Connections'/'Advanced'/'W Firewall Settings'/'Advanced' - and not by me! Could there be a conflict here between ZA and the WF?

Oooh! Not seen that!

I have Windows Firewall turned firmly OFF, with ZoneAlarm doing its thing. I don't seem to have that "Connections" thing, so can't check to see if there's a sneaky one in there.

I don't seem to have connection problems either, so I stay fat dumb and happy.

To correct the detail - look in your connection (Lan/Wireless) properties panel. Strangely my wireless connection does NOT have these 'enabled and the fixed line does.

PS Connection still good
