Change to PPrune technology?

When reading PPrune forums I've been used to clicking the title, reading and then clicking my browser back button to get back to the forum page. Now, sometimes (but not always) I find that the back button doesn't always work. Investigating some more, I find that if I drop down the list of back items the one I'm (trying to) going back to is not the PPrune forum, instead it's a Google ad.

Has something changed in PPrune or Google or do I need to change a browser setting or what?
