Video Editing
Hey All...
I have just been given a seven hour, well just a little over, video file to edit for a friend...
Now, lucky for me, all i have to do is split it up into Volumes, and remove the pause/blank screens that are in the video.
There are 8 vols and 16 or so blank screens, so its no too bad...
My problem is, i dont have any software that will do this editing as such, so does anyone know of any free dvd editing software that i can use to chop up the footage...
Thanks...

DVD Flick can create DVDs, and XP comes with a free video editing tool: Windows Movie Maker. You don't say what the incoming format is, but there are tools to convert most things to MPEG2 if it isn't already.

Format is WMV. I have PowerProducer and NTI DVD Maker, so burning and converting is no issue.
I need to find a way to chop the seven hours into one hours blocks more or less. I cant see in the software i have where it allows you to do that?
