Watch a DVD using PS2 on SKY TV

I've a PS2 box. I've successfully! load the DVID onto the PS, switched it on, connected it to the tv scart box. However, whilst the DVD appears to be playing, I cannot see it on the tv.

How do I view it. I've put the tv on standby, located the AV channel, but still no DVD access.

The t.v. is programmed for SKY. I called them but they could not help.

Any suggestions really appreciated as I am at home, with a nasty cold, and would really like to watch some DVDs.

Thanks for your reply. I've just got it sorted. Tried a different remote control and it worked.
