Getting browser pages to open full size

IE7 and Firefox - how, please?

Being more specific, when a second page is opened I have to press the maximise button to get it to expand to fill the screen.

I can't seem to find an answer via the help functions. It must be a simple thing to do ...... aaaargh.

IIRC the way around this is to open IE then open another window, drag (not maximise) the window to the size required, then close the first window, then close the second window, this should then enable IE to open windows to the size last remembered.

I recommend downloading IE8 or not use IE at all and i a, sure you know but i think the tab feature once understood is a much more efficint way of opening new pages. not only does it keep a clean and tidy looking desktop it can save up to 10-50mb of Ram usage.
I believe the default is mouse click 3 so if you are using a standard Microsoft scroll mouse you click down the scroller.
