AVG Free Addition

As AVG keeps reminding me, the end of there free service is in sight, can anyone suggest a good replacement?

It's not ending, you just need to download v7.5. It's still free.

Yep 7.1 expires in January but you can download 7.5 from http://free.grisoft.com and it's still free.

Not sure why they've done it that way after so many automatic upgrades - maybe to promote their anti-spyware offering which is on the same download page?
