Electronic flight bag?
I am lookig at electronic flight bags with the aim of chucking away all the paper in the cockpit, I have jeppview and am looking for a tablet PC to use in the air.
At the moment the Motion Computing LS800 looks like the beat option.
The system has to be able to be used as a Kneeboard in the air and on the ground has to use a wireless conection to the internet to get Notams, weather and file flight plans.
Any coments and advice ?

Any normal tablet will fail above about FL130 due to the HD crashing, and this definitely includes the LS800 (which I use, and have crashed a few times).
There is a flash IDE drive solution, around here

but it's very new. Motion wash their hands of all these issues, despite their being a whole load of American EFB products based on the LS800.
I wouldn't chuck out my charts just yet. It's far better IMHO to print out the requires approach plates (and alternates) back home, and even a portable printer e.g. the Canon IP90 or the Pentax Pocketjet is a viable thing to carry around.
I expect things to change with the new ARINC eFlybook although its display is far too slow in updating to support a moving map feature. It would be good for approach plates.
Anything with windoze on it is also not good enough. Sometimes it won't start, sometimes it shuts down (but doesn't actually and the battery goes flat), etc. I love gadgets but it's too much hassle backing up everything. Printing off the plates is so much simpler.
A&C you have a PM.
