Missing! Two little computers that wink to each other!

The two in the ashtray that denote that the modem is working with another.

Please!?

Er, I think you might have to supply more information than that.

Last time I had that problem the answer was to start rasmon automatically ... but I doubt that'll help you.

Which OS? If WindowsXP, go to 'Start'/'Connect to'/Select the connection you wish displayed (left-click)/'Properties'/Bottom box 'Show Icon'

Win2000 is: Start, settings, dial up connections, then right click on the one you want to use and select properties.

In my case it shows "local area connection" as I have high speed connection to my network.

It should have a small box on the left hand side saying "show icon when connected" that needs to be selected.
