Text formatting on Pprune

Well its happened again! I have lost all the controls (like B,I,U, colour,size etc.) including cr/lf being ignored when I post, which is why I'm putting Just to show you how it looks as I type. It happened before, then righted itself, now it's gone again! Any ideas? XP, Firefox. (edited to say it's even stripped out the crlf I was putting in between >

could be a javascript thing which is preventing the controls coming up..

clear out your cache and restart IE could help

To (partly) answer my own post.

I'm using Opera this time and it's working, as you can see.

Wish I knew why because, although Opera is nice, it's not as fast as Firefox, and on dialup that difference counts.

NO, I'm not desperate enough to use IE to see what happens!
