Windows Live OneCare....
Just officially launched, Microsoft's all in one Virus scanner, anti-spyware, firewall, software updating engine and general all round good guy (???)
90 day free trial available, then £26.50 for a three machine home yearly licence.
Now, do I ditch AVG, Spybot, and my other familiar tools, or wait and see how long it takes the hackers to sucessfully target this..?

Having created the Gruyere that is an MS operating sytem, it somehow feels odd to trust them in putting it all right. I wonder how many people will jump from an existing AV/Firewall supplier, rather than wait for the MS solution to be foisted upon them when purchasing a new machine.
I wish them luck. Who knows? We may be pleasantly surprised...
Must dash - medication time coming up.

26 quid for a piece of spyware that purports to control the myriad security holes in their own expensive superdooper operating system?
That sounds like a ripoff the me, no matter how "good" the security app is.
Is there no limit to those guy's greed?
Thanks, I'll look after my own security.
