international guarantees - worthless?
Planning to buy a Canon digital camera in Changi. Big cost saving compared to UK. My previous Canon products have been reliable, but should I worry that the guarantee would not be honoured in UK, at least without me incurring extra costs shipping to Canon etc. Any good/bad experiences out there?

Did you read my post on relative prices? I'ts a strange world out there. From the US the cheapest price I'm getting with LOCAL warrenty and No delivery charge is from London. But their SLR page has been blank during the Passover holidy At least I think that's what is the 'problem'
