Lost E-Mails??

I just went to check my e-mails, I saw I had received about 5, then all of a sudden my computer crashed. When I switched it back on and went to check my mail again, the 5 e-mails have vanished, when I click on send & receive nothing there.

Is there anyway I can get them back?

Thanks

Have you tried your ISP mailroom to see if they have copies ?

Depending on your ISP, it is likely that a copy will still be on the server.

If your ISP has a webmail function, try looking there as this is the most likely place to find them..

Otherwise, contact your ISP

If you were using the IMAP4 protocol for reading, your mails are probably unharmed, and using your service provider's webmail interface (check your documentation where you can reach it) should verify this. On the other hand, if you were using the older POP3 protocol, unfortunately the messages are typically NOT left on the server after having been download from it unless you've instructed the reader to do so. I always recommend people to use the webmail interface whenever they can, just for these reasons.
