Working for a company where date of joining counts for everything, I'm keen to know why my d.o.j. in my profile doesn't reflect the true date which was sometime in 1997? Mods?

A couple of nasty server crashes a few years ago shredded chunks of the database. A symptom of our precarious hand to mouth existence battling through with overloaded and stressed computers.
