Running on fast-ish AMD with XP 5.1 SP2
Well, I've just recently installed SBCglobal's soft to get my first broadband setup. I'm using Firefox for the first time also. 1.5.0.1
Going back to IE seemed to get over the problem, but left me with a former problem of not remembering names / passwords etc. This needed my reg files editing I think, and I was loth to get into that...Firefox was any easy way out.
When I want mail I access it by "SBC Yahoo! Mail" it was just part of the package. It worked well, apart from the promise of getting my addresses across from earthlink, which it failed to do, but apart from that it was fine.
The problem started when I un-installed earthlink.
Much of today's computing is a mystery to me. I'm okay with the hardware but I was one who said Windows wouldn't catch on! R
