Parallel Printer to USB only Laptop

Hi all,

Have just bought a new laptop (which doesnt have any parallel ports on) - how can i connect my parallel laser printer to it?

Sucking eggs, I know, for which I apologise in advance, but I would have thought that most laser printers were modern enough to have a USB port. What model do you have?

Ha, my venerable, three hundred weight laser has parallel and serial sockets on it but USB wasn't even invented when I bought it.

Let us know if it works. Some printers (I've tried 3) won't work even if you use the parallel-to-usb adaptor.
