Fujitsu P1510 WIFI Connection

I got a Fujitsu P1510 for christmas (thank you santa) and am having problems configuring it for WIFI. I should start by saying that I am extremely computer illiterate but bought the Fujitsu as its nice and small and easy to take down route with me.

I have a WIFI connection from my PC to my old lap top which works fine. The Fujitsu can sense the WIFI signal but keeps telling me that it is unable to "connect."

Yes, I have read the instructions and they have a very high level of assumed knowledge - which I dont have.

Any suggestions from Ppruners out there would be most welcome.

Thanks.

Is there a firewall running on the laptop? If so, try switching it off and see what happens.
Also, does the laptop have the right password and such to log onto the network?
