iTunes help

[The Flying Scotsman]

The tracks I have downloaded from itunes play back almost as if the have old fashioned scratches (like records) and occasional blips in the sound.

I have a 2 meg braodband connection and a brand new pc with (I assume) a good sound card and processing rate.

Any ideas ?
