FREE anti-virus software?!

Been using Etrust for about 3 years and find it good, it works in the back ground, not like Norton's stuff that keeps poping up with info that you don't want to know.

Its free for a years:

It is frequently updated and interacts with the security center on XP.

Check out the stickied thread, "FAQ" near the top of the forum page - it has heaps of useful info.

Until yesterday was running AVG with absolutely no problems at all. The only reason it isn't running today is I am trying out Avast and I have to say it is also a damn good thing!!

Both are freeware, and both I have gotten from that thread by following the direct links already supplied.
