Angry 1&1 hotline email response

Has anyone had experience of the response times from 1&1's hotline (customer care/sales) - I sent a query re their servers on Tuesday but haven't had a response yet.

Is that symptomatic of their support performance?

Cheers,
Charles

Well time to eat humble pie...

The original email I sent was passed on internally to billing who then responded in part to my query and referred me to the techies for my second question. Took two working days to get the info I needed - not bad really.

What I'm impressed about is that it only took them 6 hours to set up my new server even though they warn it might take a week.

And boy, does it fly, not as fast as Pprune's but it's good enough for a geek like me.

One my sites which hosts a forum was rendering pages in anything from 1 to 10 seconds - now it does in 0.300 seconds!! A ping to the old server takes about 169ms to come back, on the new one it does it in 25ms (pprune does it in 15ms!).

Ramblings over, need to carry on transferring the sites.

Cheers
Charles
